My favorite kid series

My favorite series is Dragon Ball, we watched it with my brother, who is two years younger than me. We waited for the hour after arriving from school and prepared the cushions in our room to see the series comfortable.

One of the episodes that marked me the most was the death of Goku. He was the main character and his son Gojan mourned his death a lot. It was very sad, with my brother we resisted tears, but without a doubt, the drama of the series did not leave us indifferent.

After that scene, more things happened, where Goku reaches heaven, and in the other life he continues to create ties and he even participated in an Olympiad. It was a very fantastic series.

The good thing about that part of the story is that Gojan and Goku were able to meet again and continue fighting against the bad guys.

I remember it was a long-running series, so there are a lot of episodes that I don't remember clearly, just certain parts that touched me a lot.

I have not seen it again, because I know it is very long, it also makes me feel childish, but it is something that unites us with my brother, and I treasure those memories with great affection.

 The best vacations in Brazil

The most curious thing about these vacations is that they were a little before the 2010 earthquake. However, I remember perfectly how much fun I had during those weeks.

My aunt, my cousin and I went to the Brazilian falls, on an overland trip. We had different stops through Argentina and Paraguay, places where we stayed and that I was able to visit during the day and at night.

The tour included the visit of different tourist places, the main and most important being the Iguazu Falls.

When we arrived we had to walk through the vegetation while it was raining and it was very hot, so we were completely soaked, which made us laugh.

Then, we got on the boat to feel from the closest, the fall of the water, getting wet again. I'm sure it was the most fun of all.

Tired of our trip, we arrived at the hotel and had a delicious dinner, while we attended a show of traditional dances: capoeira and carnival dancers. The music was spectacular.

The city that I would like to visit

The city that I would like to visit is Rio de Janeiro. I have always been very curious to know what the favelas are like, what the shopping center is like, the beaches, the people who live there.

Since I was a child, I have watched Brazilian soap operas and it attracts my attention, especially neighborhood life. I sense that there is more life in community, something alien to what I have had to live personally.

The particularity that Brazil has is undoubtedly its identity so unique and different from the rest of Latin America, starting with its language: Portuguese. I have tried to get closer to the language through the songs of great artists such as Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil. Some of my favorites.

In that trip that I long for, I would like to visit the Creole neighborhoods, drink beer while they dance and sing to the sound of the samba de roda. Fascinating!

Although I know a part of Brazil, I imagine that it is in Rio de Janeiro where there is a greater concentration of different ways of life of Brazilians.

"Bunty Aur Babli", and the best soundtrack from India: "Kajra Re"

A Bollywood creation played by the most iconic actors of the last time of the largest film company in the world.

The staging is marked by the colors and the characteristic brightness of the clothing of the Hindus, who are personified with the greatest scenographic opulence. This conjugation of musical and rhythmic movements creates a magical and amazing atmosphere.

Undoubtedly, like most of the Hindu films, they are accompanied by musicals that break in the middle of the plot, and in "Bunty Aur Babli" the actress and former Miss Universe Ashiwaira Ray, interprets one of the songs that, today is a of the most popular of the genre: "Kajra Re".

This video has already gathered more than one million five hundred views, positioning it as one of the preferences of Hindi pop and without a doubt that personally, it aroused an even more interest in this type of film.

POST 4: ART

Do you like to visit art museums?

Visiting the museums is one of the landscapes that I miss the most during the quarantine. When I stayed after school at university, I used to go to the Fine Arts museum and the MAC.

What are your best artistic abilities?

The truth is, I don't have a lot of artistic skills. As a child I learned to sew clothes, which helped me later to make my own designs and develop a critical vision in haute couture.

What do you think of art creations made of human flesh, blood and bones?

Visuals created with human flesh, blood, or bones, in my opinion are a desperate wake-up call to send an extremely shocking message.

Do you have a favourite work of art? If so, what is it?  Why do you like it?

My favorite work of art is the mural of the Pinacoteca of the University of Concepción, titled "Presencia de América Latina", by the mexican painter Jorge González Camarena. I like this work a lot, because it depicts Latin America before, during and after the arrival of the Spanish in Latin America. With the harshness of the cultural crossing: tremor, slavery, industrialization.

POST 3: MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

One of my favourite devices is the smartphone. Although I had my first smart phone just a few years ago, it became a necessity for me. I felt very stupid the first time I held it in my hands. I didn't know how to use it. It took me several days to understand and handle it.

I use it everyday,  when I need to see something as simple as the time o algo más complicado como redactar un documento.

I like it because it is easy to transport and it is a good working tool because I can make publications, take pictures and record videos.

Unfortunately I have lost and broken many smartphones and with them valuable photos and memories for me. That was the saddest thing.

Over time I have learned to back up all kinds of contact information, photos and files, so that I don't have to go through the same thing again.

POST 2: MY PROFESSION

Why I studied journalism?

When I was a child I dreamed of being an independent and self-confident woman. I was never very clear about the job I would do, so I had different career options in mind.
The first career I studied was law, but it wasn't what I liked.

Later, I thought of studying something related to architecture. And it didn't meet my expectations eithe.

Finally I decided to study Journalism because I wanted to find what I didn't find before, in addition to experiencing the opportunity to study at the University of Chile.

My experience has been positive in relation to school learning, because thanks to this I have been able to defend myself in the workplace.

The most difficult part has been complement studies with motherhood, however, achieving it is my greatest pride.

Honestly, I would like to have a job where I can receive respect and not feel discriminated against for being a woman and rewards you well for your special skills, knowledge and passion.

Also, I would like to work in a mass media, because I think that highlights your best qualities and abilities.
